"Tina Jeranko is a visual artist and performer currently living in Vienna. She uprooted her South Slavic self a good decade ago, was a Dutch citizen for a while, then a Finnish citizen, both places where she studied and worked. Tina joined the art space flat1 as an assistant to get involved in the Viennese art scene and is now gravitating to Austrian ground in the desire to create an artistic base for herself.

Exploring the role of repeated and habitual actions in shaping bodies and worlds, the artist is drawn to the workings of inner speech and its multiple voices. Her primary media are text, body, relations, and voice. These are noted in writings and translated into speech performances and prints, often task-oriented works that rely on audience participation. Tina enjoys watching motion pictures in different settings, daily walks, miscommunication, disruption, the occult, and dark chocolate, amongst other things. She hopes to contribute and exchange knowledge and humor within and beyond the flat1 team and is excited about this new chapter.”
